| | So I mentioned earlier that we are going to start a new project at the lake this winter. We are going to be tearing up the old linoleum, and putting down tile. We went to BestTile last night to look around, and I think we finally picked out the tile.
We have some sample to take up to the lake this weekend, just to make sure we like it once we get it there. We have some measuring to do, and hopefully we'll be able to order the tile next week. We are also going to do radiant in-floor heat under all of the tile. Should make the house more comfortable in the winter. |

| | Well, not really, but it's the first time in 3 years.
That's right, for the first time in 3 years the car has made it into the garage at the lake. We used to park in there all teh time, but when we started building the new dock for the new boat, the garage got filled up with lumber and other stuff, then the boat started getting parked in there for the winter, and the trailer in the summer. Finally I have it clean enough to have both the boat, and the car in there. I never thought it would happen. Let's see how long it lasts.
I think we may have too many toys. The bikes are hanging, the kayaks are suspended above the hood of the car, the boat is packed away. It's a tight fit, but it's all in there. I still want to get more organized. Maybe get some peg board up on the walls to hang the garden tools etc. But that probably won't happen until spring.

| | High school football green that is. I just thought I would put up some pictures form Alex's football game back on Oct 13th. I finally got around to downloading the pictures form the camera.

| | I'm not!
Well mostly I am. We took care of most of the outdoor stuff at the lake this weekend, Wrapped up the hose, turned off the water to the outside faucet, took the dock arms off. But Mentally I am no prepared. I still want to get out in the kayaks some more. The boat is put away already, but it didn't get enough use this summer. It just seems like this summer zipped past before we had a chance to enjoy it. With the weddings, wedding showers, and bachelor parties, we spent more time than usual away from camp. But it was a good time.
I guess I am just getting old. Time just seems to be flying by. We have some big plans for the winter. We are going to tear up the linoleum, and tile the floors at the camp. Hopefully we can get it all done (if Brenda can ever decide on the tile.) In the spring we have to finish the bar, and a couple of other things, but hopefully next summer will be a little slower paced. I guess for now I'll just start looking forward to skiing, or snowboarding. |

| | Here is another by request. We really don't follow a recipe for this, so this is just a guideline. We just throw everything together without measuring, so it's different every time.
Ingredients (all to taste):
- 2 cups Cranberry juice
- 1 cup Orange juice
- Juice of 1 lemon or lime, or both
- 1 bottle red wine
- 2 cups Sprite or 7-Up
- 1 Orange thinly sliced for garnish
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1/4 cup Triple sec
Instructions:
- mix all ingredients in a large pitcher with ice.
- Add other fruit as desired to taste.
