Ingredients:
Batter:
- 1½ cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegtable oil
- 1 Tbs white vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Throw in a handful of chocolate chips
Filling:
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Batter:
- Blend all ingredients together in listed order.
- Place liners in cupcake pans and fill to 1/3 full.
Filling:
- Mix cream cheese with sugar.
- Add egg, salt, and chocolate chips. Mix well.
- Top cake batter (in liners) with one heaping teaspoon of filling.
Bake at 350 for 20-22 minutes.
Note: After baking, let cool and sprinkle with powder sugar.
