Black Bottom cupcakes
Ingredients:

Batter:
  • 1½ cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegtable oil
  • 1 Tbs white vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Throw in a handful of chocolate chips
Filling:
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:

Batter:
  • Blend all ingredients together in listed order.
  • Place liners in cupcake pans and fill to 1/3 full.
Filling:
  • Mix cream cheese with sugar.
  • Add egg, salt, and chocolate chips. Mix well.
  • Top cake batter (in liners) with one heaping teaspoon of filling.
Bake at 350 for 20-22 minutes.

Note: After baking, let cool and sprinkle with powder sugar.
