Ingredients:
- 1/4 stick butter
- 1 onion chooped
- 3 tbs flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 - 14 oz can chicken broth
- 2 cups evaporated milk
- 1 package chopped frozen broccoli (or use fresh)
- pinch of nutmeg
Instructions:
- Saute onions in butter. Blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Stir over medium heat for 2 minutes
- Gradually add broth and broccoli. Bring to a boil
- Cover and simmer until cooked
- Add evaporated milk while stirring. Do not boil
- Add a pinch of nutmeg
