A friend of mine used a quote on her blog today, that struck home with me. It plays right into stuff going on in my life, so I thought I would put it up here along with a mystery (to most of you) picture.

Actually, it's the first game we are going to. And it's in Boston. We have never been to Fenway. We are excited and nervous at the same time. We love the city of Boston, but we are worried how the Red Sox fans will react to some Yankee fans sitting in the bleachers. I am sure we will have a good time no matter what. Check back next week, and I am sure I will have some pictures from the game posted.

Later in May we are also heading out to Cleveland to catch a couple of games there. We will probably wind up seeing more away games than home games this season. I can't wait to see the new stadium, but ticket prices are up there.

This weekend Brenda and I headed out to CT to help Sherri and Kevin with a bathroom tile project. We have been looking forward to this for a while now. It's nice to help out friends and family on their projects, and It was nice to spend time with them, and to finally see their house for the first time. We got there Friday night, and Alyssa, Kelly, and her friend Dave came over to visit.

Once again we were lucky enough to spot our winged friend. It was on our way home from camp last night. In the marshy area near the lake there was a bald eagle just hanging out. I made a quick U-turn with the truck, and jumped out to take a few pictures. I love seeing these majestic birds around. I am going to order a new telephoto lens for our camera, so hopefully I can get some even better shots the next time we see him.
