Brenda decided to come up with a new chicken marinade this weekend. This is a modification of some other marinades, but it's new, easy and great! Give it a try.

Marinated Chicken Breasts

Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Tastefully Simple onion - onion seasoning blend
  • 1 dash of Emeril's Essence seasoning
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a pan large enough for all chicken breasts. Let marinate for at least 2 hours. Reserve marinade for basting while cooking. Grill on preheated grill 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through, basting as necessary.

Marinade can be made ahead and frozen .

Just a quick little update. Denise sent some new pictures of Tess, and I thought that I would put them up on the website. Also, with all the excitement, I forgot to mention that I have uploaded the pictures from the baby shower into the Baby Tess Album.

Well, Becky thought that this picture should be on the site... so here it is. I was trying to think of a good caption for it. Let me know if you come up with anything.

That's right, today is my beautiful wife's birthday. She is 25 today . Being such the romantic that I am, I picked out the perfect gifts. What is more romantic than new furniture? Yep, after 10 years we finally bought ourselves a new dinning room set, and sofa for the lake?

I am a lucky guy to have such a wonderful wife. Happy birthday.
